Sustainable beekeeping
We support beekeepers in improving their practices, using modern beehives, and diversifying their income.
What we do
Four complementary pillars, from the apiary to the market, ensuring that pollinator protection also generates income for rural communities.
We support beekeepers in improving their practices, using modern beehives, and diversifying their income.
We transmit the skills necessary for apiary management through practical training and support.
We develop fruit and nectar-bearing plants to strengthen floral resources, biodiversity, and pollination.
We combine IoT, data, and artificial intelligence to help beekeepers better understand their apiaries and environment.
Our identity
In Swahili, "ChemChem" means "source" or "well". To us, it represents a source of inspiration, knowledge, and resources.
"Agro" comes from the Greek "agros", meaning "cultivated land".
Together, ChemChemAgro symbolizes our vision: to be a source of solutions, knowledge, and opportunities for those who cultivate the land, protect pollinators, and contribute to more sustainable agricultural systems.
Miel du Volcan
At the heart of the volcanic landscapes of eastern Democratic Republic of the Congo, Miel du Volcan tells a story of nature, biodiversity, and community expertise.
Each harvest is linked to a territory, its floral resources, and the work of the beekeepers.
Our ambition is to promote an authentic brand that is responsible and deeply connected to African volcanic landscapes.

Traceability
We are developing honey traceability to better document its journey, from the apiaries to packaging and commercialization.
The geolocation of hives and farms, production data, and information gathered in the field progressively strengthen the transparency of the value chain.
Discover traceabilityEach hive is linked to an identified apiary.
Hives and farms are geolocated.
Production data is recorded in the field.
The honey is extracted and prepared.
The honey is jarred under the Miel du Volcan brand.
The consumer can trace the origin of their jar.
ApiConnect
ApiConnect is ChemChemAgro's technological platform. It combines IoT, data, and artificial intelligence to provide beekeepers with insights on environmental conditions, risks, and beekeeping practices.
Today, ApiConnect is enhanced with multimodal AI capabilities: images, sounds, GPS, and weather data generate recommendations tailored to local conditions.
Our impact

For us, beekeeping is simultaneously an economic activity, a tool for biodiversity protection, and a means to strengthen community resilience.
